TITHES & OFFERINGS
WHY OUR MEMBERS GIVE: "SOWING A SEED"
Sankofa International Baptist Church believes in tithing (offering
God 10 percent of our income, resources, talents, skills etc.) as
fundamental to spiritual and material wealth.
Giving back to God with our finances is viewed in the same understanding
as our prayers, our fasts, our worship and our study of God's word.
Offerings are freely made in support of the Sankofa ministries (an
offering being anything sacrificed to God above the 10 percent tithe
God requires).
And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who
gives you power to get wealth.

MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS PRIVILEGES
The church of God must itself tithe back to the community. Sankofa
International Baptist Church is committed to giving back to its
members as well as giving back to the community. There are benefits
and blessings from being a part of any church where serving God
and living out God's mandate is the goal. Sankofa Church supports
its members in the following areas:

Every tithing member/family receives a membership card and
an ID number that gives them access to all sites on the church's
web site including a family email.

Member services.

Special care packages sent to your children who are away at
college each month (Sermon on CD, stipend, etc.).
